The Antioch Care Center is a comprehensive cancer center designed to provide a holistic environment for its patients and staff. The facility represents a synthesis of innovation, compassion, and healing with nature.

A key goal was to create a peaceful environment through the integration of the building with nature. Expansive glass areas flood the interior with natural light. Multiple landscape courtyards and two significant water features provide opportunities for relief. Extensive use was made of natural materials including granite seat-blocks, slate-like flooring, and grass-cloth walls.
