BFHL Architects refined the ingress of NorthBay Health System’s VacaValley campus through appearance and function of the Emergency Department, which is based on providing bed-side registration and family-centered care. This 11,000 sf addition accommodates the new ED as well as the Lobby/Admitting functions. The project also includes the installation of elevators to connect the Emergency Room with Surgery Department in the Second Floor of the hospital, as well as the required parking, landscaping and circulation areas serving the new ED and main hospital entries.
